Big Plans for 2016 - Growing Heart Farm

Our new view and expanded orchard work in progress – our first wedding coming in 2016.
We are very much looking forward to a bright 2016. Thank you GHF community for your support and patience over the last six years. As we roll into our seventh year of operation I wanted to share with you some updates from the farm:

This year we are moving our CSA from the city to Rockland county and bringing in some ringers. We are really excited to introduce Jessica and Justin. They are great people, have amazing backgrounds & skills, and have already fallen in love with the farm.

Their first project is building a new 2200 square foot greenhouse:

And we have opened up space for drum circles deep in our woods around the oldest tree on the land:

We did a lot of December tree work to make space for our first GHF wedding. Those are all tree branches on the ground.
All of the wood will be used for firewood, building, and we rented a huge wood chipper that was able to devour trunks up to 12″
