Japanese Beetle Invasion!

Just when we get the flea beetles under control, Japanese Beetles attack!  There were a few last week, but this week they were everywhere!  We got “homeopathic” (not sure how much I believe that) beetle-sex-smell traps that we’ve hung along the fence.  In the end you are supposed to end up with a big bag of beetles… and then you?  Stomp on them?!  Drown them?!  I can’t think of any non-gross options.  The guy at the hardware store says they always show up the week before 4th of July, and we should have put the traps out earlier.  Next time we’ll know.
